Total deliveries of iron ore in January-September 2009 reached 2 267,2 thousand tons, accounting for 3.5% of the total turnover of the Group of the NCSP. Total deliveries of ferrous metals returned to the pre-crisis level - in the period under review, turnover for this type of cargo has reached 6 654.8 thousand tons, a 0.4% increase over 9 months of last year. In this case, the volume of trans-ferrous metals in September this year compared with the same period last year grew by 28,1%.

Total deliveries of pig iron, vegetable oils, perishable goods and mineral fertilizers in the period from January to September 2009 total increased by 118,6 thousand tons for January-September 2008.

In the first 9 months of 2009 the volume of transshipment of containers amounted to 172,3 thousand TEU - thus reducing the volume in the same period last year while still at the level of 38,7%.
