Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia has made to the Government a draft decree on approval of the harmonization of transactions of foreign investors to acquire shares in companies with the strategic importance of defense and state security, said FAS.
The draft resolution drawn up in accordance with Part 6 of article 11 of the Federal Law On procedure of foreign investments in the business community of strategic importance for the country's defense and security of the state and pursuant to orders a government commission to monitor the implementation of foreign investment in Russian Federation.
approved rules aimed at clarifying the requirements for applications for agreeing deals with foreign investors, their participation in the authorized capital of companies of strategic importance for the country's defense and security of the state, and (or) they have transactions involving controlling of such business entities, in part, not regulated by this federal law, establishes the Government of Russian Federation, said the anti-monopoly agency.

Submission to the Government the draft decree was the final stage in the performance of Action Plan to implement the Federal Law On procedure of foreign investments in the business community of strategic importance for the country's defense and security of the State and Federal Law On Amending the individual Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and the recognition of certain invalid provisions of the legislative acts of the Russian Federation in connection with the adoption of the Federal Law On procedure of foreign investments in the business community of strategic importance for the defense and state security.
