In the first half of 2009 consolidated revenues of Synergy under IFRS grew by 8% and amounted to 7.778 billion rubles (first half 2008: 7.199 billion rubles), while cost of sales increased 10% and amounted to 5.102 billion rubles (the first half of 2008: 4.618 billion rubles), the company reported. Net profit of JSC Synergy for the reporting period decreased by 9.6% to 512 million rubles.

General and administrative expenses decreased by 32% and amounted to 548 million rubles (first half 2008: 809 million rubles), which was the result of programs to reduce costs.

Selling expenses increased by 0,2% and amounted to 1.039 billion rubles (first half of 2008: 1.037 billion rubles).

Operating profit rose by 26% and amounted to 1.219 billion rubles (first half 2008: 965 million rubles), representing 16% of the revenues (first half 2008: 13%).

Consolidated EBITDA increased by 29% and amounted to 1.398 billion rubles (first half 2008: 1,084 million rubles).
