According to him, Kyivenergo plans in 2010 to take stock of cable networks company. He added that the company, thus, intends to turn off consumers who are connected to unauthorized networks. Sokolovsky said that siphoning off electricity refers to a non-standard costs. According to him, in 2009, abnormal loss of electricity amounted to UAH 28 million, about 80% of them - are siphoning off, that is theft. Sokolovsky said that after the cuts will be made up acts on the fact of theft of electricity.
“If they (consumers who have been compromised connected) will want to connect - we sanction”, - said Sokolovsky. According to him, therefore, the company will reduce the abnormal expenditures, as well as the load on the network.

Kyivenerho plans to work with housing department to agree on the installation of special equipment in the electrical control houses, which will disconnect from power for some time those consumers, the load on the network which exceeds standards. Sokolovsky said that this was about 10 houses, mostly in city center, because it is a central part of the city residents often use large amounts of electrical appliances, which leads to an overload of household networks.
