According to the head of LUKoil, Ukrtransnafta were committed not quite prepared action in the organization of oil Kremenchug factory, which impeded the work of the Odessa refinery. These actions were not consistent with LUKoil, Transneft, has not been prepared to change routes, - he said.

Alekperov did not rule out holding in Ukraine of the trial because of the situation with the supply of oil to the Odessa refinery.

As reported, the management of LUKoil on October 2 decided to stop production at the Odessa refinery. This is a forced solution due to the actions of the Ukrainian company OAO Ukrtransnafta, which from 1 October 2009 ceased to pump oil through the route Lisichansk - Kremenchug - Odessa refinery, - explains NK.

proposed JSC Ukrtransnafta other routes for oil in the Odessa refinery to expert estimates, Lukoil is much more expensive raw materials and, thus, lead the company to profit and loss, said the company. For example, the proposed route of the border of Belarus - Brody-Odessa increases transport costs by $ 5.7 per ton. Besides, Transneft has no technical possibilities to ensure adequate supplies of oil to the Odessa refinery on other routes in October this year. Thus, LUKoil forced to indefinitely stop the plant and cease manufacturing of petroleum products.

At the same time Ukrtransnafta places full responsibility for the loss of oil refining at refinery in Odessa Lukoil and Transneft. In the Ukrainian company believes that the main purpose of the current situation is the intention to impede the supply of Caspian oil to the Kremenchug refinery. Thus, ZAO Ukrtatnafta (Kremenchug NPZ, the Poltava region.) Plans in October to import 240 thousand tons of Caspian oil. Transportation of oil will be implemented by system Pridneprovsky oil pipelines.

In Ukrtransnafta note that the use of the system Pridneprovsky pipeline network exclusively in the traditional south, as suggested by the Odessa refinery is economically inefficient for Ukrtransnafta, since loading of the pipeline in this case does not exceed 15%. The main objective Ukrtransnafta, as operator of the trunk pipeline system of the country, is to create conditions to maximize the supply of oil for domestic refining capacity, were celebrating.

Kremenchug refinery in over two years experiencing constant problems with the sources of supply of raw materials in connection with the conflict between the management of the plant and one of its owners - Russia's OAO Tatneft. Tatneft has ceased regular oil supplies to the plant, so the refinery is seeking various ways of loading capacity.

According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the conflict between the JSC Ukrtransnafta and of LUKOIL is the result of the monopolization of oil refining areas in the past decade.
